WINE & ART - THE MAGIC WORLD OF OIL PAINTING IN TUSCANY 8 DAY – San Quirico, Bagno Vignoni and the Secrets of Olive Oil Just after breakfast we will drive to see two small medieval towns, stopping along the way to visit and olive oil factory so we can learn about its production and do a tasting.

You will learn how the hard, green fruit is transformed into “green splendor,” and about the difference between one olive oil and another. Tuscany is famous for the quality of its olive oil, so a visit and tasting is a treat for anyone coming to the region.

After the tasting we will drive to the hilltop town of San Quirico d’Orcia, famous as the setting for numerous films, most recently a drama about the Medici Family starring Dustin Hoffman, which was shot here in early 2016. We’ll stop at the beautiful Leonini gardens and maybe try a scoop or two of gelato before continuing our trip to Bagno Vignoni, famous for its thermal hot-springs.

   We stop here for lunch and then return for our last Lesson (no. 6) with Melissa.
